Dr Amie Steel is a naturopath, educator and researcher in the field of complementary medicine. She is a founding member of the Public Health Association of Australia Evidence, Research and Policy in Complementary Medicine Special Interest Group and Treasurer for the Australian Register of Naturopaths and Herbalists. Dr Steel is the Chief Investigator of the Practitioner Research and Collaboration Initiative (PRACI).

Jon Adams is Distinguished Professor of Public Health and Director of the Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM) at the Faculty of Health, University of Technology Sydney. Jon also holds a prestigious ARC Professorial Future Fellowship (2015-2019) and is the National Convenor of the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) Special Interest Group in ‘Evidence, Research and Policy in Complementary Medicine’.

Dr Jon Wardle

Postdoctoral fellow/Lecturer (Public Health), Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM), Faculty of Health, University of Technology Sydney

Dr Wardle is an internationally recognised CM researcher with qualifications in public health, law, nursing and naturopathy. Dr Wardle heads the policy, legislative and regulatory stream at the Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (UTS) and has numerous active international collaborations, including visiting positions at the University of Washington and Boston University.

Dr Vincent Chung

Assistant Professor, Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care; Convener (Education), Hong Kong Institute of Integrative Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Visiting Research Fellow, Australian Research Centre for Complementary and Integrative Medicine, University Technology Sydney.

Trained as a Chinese medicine practitioner, Dr. Vincent CH Chung is one of the few scholars with research spanning across clinical, health services, and policy aspects of Integrative Medicine. He has published more than seventy academic publications in leading journals. He has been the principal investigator of eight competitive research and knowledge translation grants since 2011.

Dr Leach is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Rural Health at the University of South Australia. He is also a Registered nurse and Naturopath. Dr Leach has made a significant contribution to the fields of evidence-based practice, health workforce planning and complementary and integrative medicine over the past two decades.

Associate Professor Tony Zhang is currently Discipline Leader of Chinese Medicine in the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences, RMIT University (Melbourne). He is also co-deputy director of the China-Australia International Research Centre for Chinese Medicine and deputy director of WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional Medicine.

Senior Lecturer (Nursing and Midwifery), Faculty of Medicine, Monash University; Visiting Research Fellow, Australian Research Centre for Complementary and Integrative Medicine, University Technology Sydney

Dr Hall has a background as a naturopath and registered nurse/midwife. After approximately 20 years of clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings, Helen transitioned to academia. Her current research interests revolve around the use of integrative medical approaches to support normal pregnancy and birth. Helen is a visiting research fellow with the Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM).

Professor of Medicine, Medical Faculty, University of Bern Co-Director Institute of Complementary Medicine, University of Bern

Prof Wolf is a full professor of the Medical Faculty at the University of Bern. She is also a Co-Director of the Institute of Complementary Medicine at the University of Bern. She is an expert in complementary and integrative medicine (CIM) and her professional activities include research, teaching and patient care. Her research focusses on investigating CIM with quantitative and qualitative state-of-the-art methods.

Janet Schloss has been in private practice as a naturopath and nutritionist for over 18 years and has completed her PhD at the School of Medicine in the University of Queensland through the Princess Alexandra Hospital. In this role, Janet supports the Office of Research with gathering, analysing and interpreting research data collected through our projects including PRACI, as well as assisting other departments with data collection and analysis through our internal surveys and other types of data collection.

President, Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine; Professor, University of Science and Technology, Korea

Dr Kim is currently the President of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM). He is also a professor of Korean Medicine Life Science, University of Science and Technology (UST), Korea. Dr Kim is a Korean Medicine Doctor specialized in Sasang Constitutional Medicine (SCM) and medical instruments. During the past 20 years, he has been a key member of the Society of Sasang Constitutional Medicine. His research interests include integrative medicine, complementary and alternative medicine, and systems medicine.
